Information about the Öresundståg - transportation from Kastrup Airport:

There is a direct train from the terminal at Kastrup International Airport (CPH) to Halmstad Central Station (where the shuttle bus departs from. This is called the Öresundståg and the easiest way to book a ticket is by downloading the app Hallandstrafiken.

When buying a ticket with a departure from Denmark, your ticket is valid for any train departure within 3 hours before and 3 hours after the specific departure you initially booked. This is to accomodate for potential flight delays.

Upon arrival in Halmstad Central Station, the shuttle bus mentioned above will take you to the hotel. If you miss the shuttle bus or arrive at a different time, there are local buses departing every 30 minutes - bus number 3. This bus takes you all the way to the hotel. Your Öresundståg ticket is valid on the local buses within 1 hour upon arriving to Halmstad. If you don't have a train ticket, you can buy a bus ticket in the app Hallandstrafiken. Please note that you can NOT buy a ticket on the bus.
